Online shopping allows you to buy goods or services over the internet and there are many benefits in doing so, these include,
- an enormous range - you'll find a huge variety of products and services for sale online,
- convenience - you can shop from the comfort of your own home and get items delivered to your door,
- safety - online shopping is contactless and safe when you buy from trusted sellers.
You might be surprised to discover that many of your favourite shops also sell online; from grocery stores like Coles and Woolies, to high street shops like David Jones and even fast-food outlets like McDonalds, online shopping is everywhere.
As well as online stores, there are also online marketplaces where websites or apps facilitate shopping from many different sources, you may have heard of Amazon and ebay which are both online marketplace examples.
