The program is offered to facilitate older people being supported and connected through the use of technology to their family, friends, essential services and the wider community to maintain their social connection and mental health in the context of social distancing and the COVID 19 pandemic. Priority will be given to those most vulnerable to ensure they are supported.

Applicants will be contacted by MidCoast Assist to confirm that they are able to participate in the program. If the applicant wishes to proceed, they will be required to register and may need to undergo an assessment by MyAgedCare (Phone 1800 200 422).
Applicants will need to request two referrals from MyAgedCare, one for 'Goods and Equipment' and one for 'Social Support - Individual' (please contact MidCoast Assist to provide the two referral numbers to us before we can proceed).
